Jeremy Jackson

DIRECTOR | PHYSIOTHERAPIST | STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH

Bio

Jeremy’s path to physiotherapy was shaped by his passion for sport and his own experiences with sports related injuries. He completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University, before undertaking a Postgraduate Master’s in Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) at Edith Cowan University. He is also a qualified ASCA Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach. This combined training enables Jeremy to guide individuals from the early stages of injury through to full return to sport and high performance.

Jeremy has worked across a range of high level sporting environments, including previously serving as a Physiotherapist with Collingwood Football Club’s VFL Team, as well as roles with Melbourne City FC, the AFL Victoria Umpiring Department, University Blues Football Club in the VAFA Premier Men’s division, and local football clubs South Morang FNC and Macleod FNC. His experience across these settings has shaped a strong performance focused approach to rehabilitation, return to sport, and long term athletic development.

In addition to his clinical work, Jeremy is a Casual Academic at La Trobe University, where he lectures and tutors in the undergraduate Physiotherapy program, and also tutors within the postgraduate Physiotherapy and Strength and Conditioning Master’s programs. He has also contributed to research in areas including hip and groin pain in professional soccer players, and return to running following ACL injuries.

Jeremy has undertaken additional training in the management of hip and groin, knee, and shoulder injuries, and works closely with some of Melbourne’s leading knee surgeons in both pre and post operative rehabilitation for conditions such as ACL and PCL reconstructions, knee replacements, knee arthroscopy, and patellofemoral joint surgeries.

He also has a particular interest in hypermobility and connective tissue disorders, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder. His further training in this area, along with a strong network of trusted practitioners, reflects his commitment to delivering high quality and well informed care.

With a comprehensive and considered approach to physiotherapy, Jeremy is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health, rehabilitation, and performance goals through tailored, evidence informed care.
